In 2005 I took a workshop with Australian quilt artist Olga Walters. It inspired the scrappy scarf. I have always loved scarves and after I made the first one I just kept making more...and more... and more!!!

Silk Scarves

Silk tube with knitting ribbon trim
It is very versatile.
One way to wear it.
Another way to wear it.
Bias cut squares stitched together with a heavy cotton thread.
Woven strips
After cutting the bias strips into squares, these triangles are left. It took me a couple of years to figure out what to do with them!
